Spearing aj’s mutton snapper and yellowjack
A quickie spear ttip with James Simcic, Chase Grimes and Jeremy Foell. We started out deep, but the rough seas and lowered vis made it too difficult, so a new spot in 50′ was key to putting fish in the boat. The guys had tripled up as I was gearing up and I quickly found myself gaffing fish, untangling lines, and getting spears back in the water asap….
