Kayaks, snorkels and sturgeon – fishing the ottawa river
Watch in HD! Launching from our pristine beach camp site at Black Bear Campground, we paddled down the Ottawa River toward Kiska Beach at CFB Petawawa. When we arrived we began snorkeling the shallows and around the sandbars of Kiska. We soon realized that the area was loaded with fish. Using clams as bate, we chummed the fish until they allowed us to swim with them….
