Kayak Fly Fishing in LaJolla by johnnyceviche


Went fly fishing in La Jolla on Sunday using my new toy TFO-425 Reel, a TFO Axiom 10 wt. rod and Scientific Anglers Striped Bass Type IV WF-10-S fly line, what a great combo. Non stop hook up on Calico Bass, Big Mackerels, and Barracuda. I Fished like there is no tomorrow until my arms felt like lead. Back to shore well after 12:00 noon. I plan in going back soon. At the end of video I pose with a 36 inches Barracuda.

    Another great video Johnny. You’ve got a great technique fly fishing from the yak. Most guys i’ve seen that fly fish from a kayak have to stand up.
