hey im a beginner i jus bought new escalade baitcaster reel and bought 12 pound mono for it can i still use crankbaits and other deeper lures?

power pro sucks 50lb power pro on the surf started at 10pm high tide 12am great at 6am before leaveing nice bite pole almost flew out holsrer realed and went 2 set and broke off in mid spool. spooled w/ new F ing power shit

For braid you can add a piece, perhaps a yards length, of mono or something else at the end of the braid to your lure or bait so it won’t be as visible.

When tying fluorocarbon knots (and making leader connections) put a dab of super glue to help hold it, works well for me.
